A microturbine is a clean burning reliable generator of electricity for distributed generation that runs in connection with the grid or off the grid in a stand alone function. The turbine can be coupled with an incorporated heat recovery system to capture heat exhaust allowing the turbine to also heat your building or water supply. This is called CHP or Combined Heat and Power and no one produces a more efficient reliable machine than Capstone Turbine.

Helping to Save the Planet
Microturbines are the number one alternative energy technology in terms of reduction of CO2 per kW installed. With increased efficiency and reduced emissions, Capstone microturbines are the only distributed generation product to achieve the strict CARB certification (California Air Resources Board). When taken into account how often a solar and wind turbine user has to use the grid for power, microturbines are even better for the environment than those renewable sources.
